Faster Response. Shorter Outages.

No more blind patrolling. When faults occur, SGS fault indicators give crews clear location signals so they can restore service faster.

When Every Minute Matters.

During an outage, the hardest part is figuring out where the fault actually is. Without clear indication, crews can spend valuable time patrolling lines, checking switches, and working blind.

01

Faster Fault Location

SGS fault indicators help crews quickly identify the faulted section.
Result: Less patrol time, faster restoration

02

Reduced Customer Impact

Shorter outages means fewer affected customers and fewer calls.
Result: Better reliability perception.

03

Lower Restoration Cost

Less truck time and overtime during major events.
Result: Lower cost per outage

Restore Power Faster.

Recon

Underground FCI

The Recon provides accurate and reliable fault detection in underground power systems. Its durable design and intelligent operating principle ensure trusted fault response on a wide range of applications, making it an industry leader for enhancing system reliability.

Patrolman

Overhead FCI

The Patrolman improves system reliability by monitoring overhead lines for faults. Its power-efficient electronics, durable mechanical design, and reliable operating principle ensure a long field life of helping linemen easily locate faults and quickly re-energize power systems.

Patrolman Plus

Overhead Communicating FCI

The Patrolman Plus is designed for easy and efficient operation in power distribution networks, utilizing cellular networks to instantly transmit fault location and data back to the utility. These units are clamp-and-play, featuring built-in LTE connectivity and location through GPS, allowing for immediate use upon installation without additional equipment.

Recon Relay

Door Mounted Transceiver

The Recon Relay works in tandem with the Recon underground fault indicator and supports connecting up to nine indicators. The cable-mounted Recon connects to the door-mounted Recon Relay through a fiber optic cable, enabling the Recon Relay to communicate the indicator status using a low-power cellular module.

The Recon Relay sends notifications whenever a Recon device indicates a fault, signals a low battery condition, or when the indication clears following system re-energization or a timed or manual reset.
